I normally order the Triple Decker Club Turkey Sandwich and she gets a Grilled Cheese with fries. We have ordered from this dinner for a few years now. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! It tasted like a boiled flour dumpling that’s pulled after being cooked & stewed in gravy :( I requested to have a side of their maple bacon sauce & then my fish was delicious. My fish wasn’t moist at all but did have an amazing dry rub on it. The food took a while to come, and when it did come it was hot, dry and did taste good. The place smelled, my step-daughter asked me “why did it smell like cat?” In there. I’m unsure how these tops went with the brand’s theme. I saw hair hot combs & old barbershop price menus stuck to the walls as decor. It definitely has an old-school country vibe, to me it kinda feels outdated. Their store is has so many displays of goodies that it felt like I was going through a winding road to get to the restaurant. The place has one entrance, coming through their store literally. A nice change from your chain restaurants. They also give a 10 % Veterans discount daily and a 10 % Senior discount on Tuesday.Breakfast all day,but limited choices. They have a Loyalty Program you can sign up for,where you can get points for discounts for food and birthday and anniversary certificates. Only complaint I had was the gravy.too much pepper. So I chose one of their vegetables of the day,braised red cabbage for my extra side. With the Senior Pick, you get a choice of one side and dessert. He had the Mile High meat loaf with homemade mashed potatoes and a salad.I had the hot roast beef over homemade filling with homemade mashed I think my partner could have eaten a larger portion. We each had their Senior Pick, which is a smaller portion and was ok for me.
